Hello, My name is Cary Navarro (actually it is a lot longer than that, but you wouldn't be able to pronounce it). I am 60 years young and the most important and fruitful years of my life are before me rather than behind me. This Page is dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ who lived and died for me that I might have abundant life now and forevermore. This page is the collective Voice of the Handmaidens of the Lord at New Life Community Church.
"Here am I, Lord, send me" has become the cry of my heart, my soul's response to the Lord's question "Whom shall I send?" In the midst of a chaotic world, I embrace the ministry of reconciliation: "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation…" 2 Cor. 5:18. I do so in the hope and certainty that through us, the Church of Jesus Christ Triumphant will make a different in the daily circumstances of lives all around us.
Helplessness used to engulf me when I heard of tragedies all around me and all around the world. I thought despairingly "all I can do is pray," not realizing that prayer is the powerful tool in bringing God's mercy to bear on the human circumstance. Now I can say, yes, I will pray and God will change things. He does so not always in the way I ask or expect, but always for the good of those who love him and in response to the prayers of those who are called by his name.
